                                                                    MACO RECEIVES $49,000

                                                                        MARKETING GRANT!

                                                                The  Massachusetts Association  of  Camp-
                                                                ground Owners  could  not be  happier  to an-
                                                                nounce that in mid-March it was announced
                                                                that our  grant application had been accept-
                                                                ed by the Massachusetts Office of Travel and
                                                                Tourism (MOTT).


        MACO is now in the process of working with its webmaster, Web-Tactics of Massachusetts, to
        build a re-designed and optimized CampMass.com to go live at the end of May. Members will be
        highlighted by region with new maps and directory along with other items yet to be announced.
        In addition to this major project, MACO will also be conducting an out-of-state billboard cam-
        paign from June 6th through July 3rd in Albany, NY ~ Hartford, CT ~ Providence, RI highlighting
        CampMass.com and Camping in Massachusetts: It’s an Endless Adventure!

        MACO held its Annual Meeting in Southbridge, MA during the Northeast Conference. At that
        meeting elections were held and the new Board of Directors for 2022 - 2023 is:
                                   Chairman: Brian Saunders, Pinewood Lodge Campground
                                      1st Vice Chair: Barry Johnson, Bourne Scenic Park
                                          2nd Vice Chair: Pete Daley, Circle CG Farm
                                   Secretary: Anna Guess-Kuzia, Coastal Acres Campground
                                     Treasurer: Roger Gingras, Sutton Falls Camping Area
                                    Past President: Jane Doonan, Sandy Pond Campground
                                   Director: Denise Dias, Sun Outdoors Cape Cod RV Resort
                                      Director: Donna Gingras, Sutton Falls Camping Area
                                    Director: Jaclyn Packard DeAcetis, Pine Acres RV Resort
                                    Director: Patricia Hubbard, Mt. Greylock Campsite Park
                                       Director: Dan Weaver, Bonnie Brae Campground

        With  almost  10,000  of  MACO’s  60,000  printed  guides  distributed at  the  Boston, Hartford,
        Springfield and Mohegan Sun RV shows, we now are focused on supplying visitor centers, ad-
        ditional RV dealers, and campgrounds. MACO is working diligently to ensure our members are
        having the best possible exposure.
