AROUND THE STATES
The association membership is continuing to see extremely high interest from campers looking to visit
their campgrounds. A number of members are reporting very high levels of reservations and inquires
for the coming season, and even some that are looking to book into 2023. If the holiday weekends
don’t see the unfortunate weather we experienced last year, New Hampshire could be set up for re-
cord-breaking levels of camping this season.
The association's New Hampshire Camping Guide is distributed and available all over New England.
Production was unfortunately more expensive this year than planned due to the supply chain. The
paper that was ordered in early August never did arrive at the printing company, which forced us to
use heavier stock paper they had in-house. It did come out well, but we would really prefer to go back
to a lighter paper stock.
It was good to be back on the trade show circuit this winter. There is a lot of excitement out there
around camping and it was nice to talk with people planning to come to New Hampshire or looking
for information. The attendance at shows was a mixed bag but the weather and lingering pandemic
requirements seemed to be a significant factor in those. As a whole, the attendance was good and at-
tendees took as many materials as they could find the room for.
The association is very optimistic about hosting their New Hampshire Camping & Recreational Vehicle
Show once again as part of the New England-based shows. We look forward to welcoming campers to
another safe, busy, and successful camping season in New Hampshire.
